Key dates, breaks, testing windows, and events - all in one place. The calendar is your single source for what's happening and when.
Get tech and Chromebook help
Having trouble with your Chromebook, VLA, or your account? Don't wait on hold - submit a request through the Help Desk and our tech team will take it from there. You'll also find answers to common issues.
Get tutoring and coaching support
You're never on your own here. Free tutoring is available in person and online, and every student has an assigned academic coach guiding their progress.
Log in to VLA and learn the platform
VLA is where your coursework lives. Log in to get to work, and check our helpful hints for tips that make the platform easier to use.
Read the student handbook
The student and family handbook covers the policies and expectations every GOVS student should know. It's the current, single source - bookmark it.
Earn offline hours toward attendance
Some of your weekly hours can come from approved activities away from the screen. Learn what counts as offline time and how to log it.
Request an official transcript
Need a transcript sent somewhere? GOVS processes requests at no charge through our request form.
Support for every learner
Student Services oversees special education, Section 504, mental health support, English Learner services, and resource coordination - support for every student need rather than every kind of student.
Counseling, college, and career support
Our counselors help with academic planning, college and career advising, scholarships, FAFSA, and personal support along the way.
Your Chromebook and device support
GOVS issues every student a Chromebook through our 1:1 program. Find usage guidelines, care instructions, and device support.
Attendance expectations
GOVS has clear weekly attendance expectations — a minimum of 25 hours per week, at least one lesson a day, and daily logins. Learn how attendance works and how to stay on track.
