Core Parental Rights and Transparency
In accordance with applicable state and federal guidelines, parents and guardians have the right to:
- Review Curriculum and Instructional Materials: Access and review textbooks, instructional materials, syllabi, and courses utilized within our virtual curriculum platform.
- Access Student Records: Inspect and review their child's official education records, academic progress, attendance records, and evaluation data in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
- Be Informed of Student Health and Welfare: Receive timely notifications regarding matters concerning their child's physical or mental health, safety, and well-being at school.
- Opt-Out Options: Receive advance notice and the opportunity to opt their child out of specific instructional modules, surveys, or non-emergency health-related programs as permitted by law.
- School Communications and Feedback: Communicate regularly with teachers, academic coaches, and administrators, and receive prompt responses to inquiries regarding their child's education.
