Overseen by a state-approved sponsor
Every Ohio community school operates under a sponsor that provides oversight and holds the school accountable. GOVS works in cooperation with the Warren County Educational Service Center and operates under the sponsorship of St. Aloysius, ensuring the school meets its obligations to students and the state.
This oversight is a feature, not fine print - it's part of what makes GOVS a legitimate, accountable public school.
Accountable to the state of Ohio
GOVS operates in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and is held to the same accountability measures as other public schools, including the state report card.
