Leadership & staff
A virtual school is still run by people - and at GOVS, there are a lot of them. Meet the team behind the school: the leaders, teachers, coaches, and counselors working every day to help students graduate.

Joanna Manchak has been a school counselor at GOVS for 5 years. Before that, she has been a counselor at Fairfield Intermediate and Hillcrest Academy. She has her Master’s degree from Xavier University.
Before counseling, Joanna was a graphic designer with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati’s Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) Program. She lives in the West Chester/Liberty Twp area with husband, two children and two dogs. She enjoys coaching and playing sports.

Emily Seevers is excited for another year as an academic coach at GOVS and looks forward to providing the support that students need to be successful.
She graduated from Anderson University in Indiana with a degree in Social Studies Education and has worked as a high school history teacher, track and cross country coach, and residence hall director.
She enjoys baking, watching her kids play sports and taking walks with her mini-schnauzer pup, Archie. Mrs. Seevers is excited to get to know the students and families at GOVS and help make this a great year.
