Taylor was the first-place award recipient and had her drawing painted on the outside wall of a building in downtown Bryan, Ohio. She also received $500 and a year’s supply of Dum Dums for her efforts. She and her sister Krista, a recent GOVS graduate, continued working with the Spangler Candy Company to create a book entitled “Marching to the Beat”. The book was recently published and is on sale at the Spangler Museum and at various libraries.
