To re-enroll your student in the Greater Ohio Virtual School for the 2019-2020 school year, you will need two pieces of information:
- Student ID (the 4 digit ID# you used for testing)
- Student birthdate
If you do not know your student ID, it is found on your picture ID card & is also available on the weekly performance report that was emailed to you.
For the student birthdate, it has to be in the format month/day/year (all numbers, need the "slash")
- For example, a birthday of May 1, 2001 would be entered as 5/1/2001 with the slashes! Note that you do not need any leading zeros, and that the year has to be all 4 digits
- For example, a birthday of November 3, 2003 would be entered as 11/3/2003 with the slashes!
WHERE TO GO:
This is the link to the returning student gateway: https://update.mygovs.com/
Once you get to that page, you will be asked for a Username and Password. The Username is the 4 digit ID number, the Password is the student birthdate (in the format listed above). Enter that information, then hit LOGIN. As shown in the screenshot below, DO NOT hit the Go To New Look button.
The student name will appear, and a blue EDIT button. Click that EDIT button. The site will ask you a bunch of questions, things that you have to verify.
If you have any questions about this process, feel free to email GOVSenrollment@warrencountyesc.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Thank you for your understanding and patience with this new process!
