GOVS provides two options for tutoring:

  1. Individual Tutoring (you can virtually meet with a tutor for up to five hours per week)
  2. Tutoring Lab (drop-in tutoring center, students can stay as long as they want, no limit to how often they come)

Individual Tutoring

GOVS is moving to all virtual (online) tutoring for the 2019-2020 school year.  If you anticipate needing face-to-face tutoring, please come to the Tutoring Lab.

CLICK HERE to fill-out the Individual Tutoring Request Form.

Note:  it may take a few days to fill your tutoring request, so it's imperative that you give us the best contact information.

GOVS Tutoring Labs
If you would like the flexibility of coming to a drop-in tutoring lab when it fits your schedule, these options are for you.  These are drop-in labs -- that means you can come for as long or as little as you want.  We will have a math tutor and an English tutor.  If you need help in other subjects, we will do our best to help you.

We have labs in three different locations to best serve our students:

  1. Lebanon
  2. Clermont County
  3. Princeton/Sharonville

Lebanon Tutoring Lab
The Lebanon Tutoring Lab will be held at the Yellow House in downtown Lebanon!  The Yellow House is located at 237 N. Broadway St. which is at the end of Pleasant St.  While this is a house, it is not a residence.  The Yellow House will be staffed by GOVS-approved tutors.  There isn't a driveway, but there is ample street parking.

We are adding a Saturday to our tutoring schedule here!  See below for the new days/times (effective Monday January 6, 2020):

  • Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00am--12:00pm
  • Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm--8:00pm
  • Thursdays and Fridays from 2:00pm--4:00pm
  • Saturdays from 11:00am--1:00pm

Clermont County Tutoring Lab
The Clermont County Tutoring Lab will be held on the campus of the Clermont County administrative buildings.  Specifically, the Virtual Lab is housed in the Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Building at 2337 Clermont Center Dr., Batavia, OH  45103.  There is ample parking in a parking lot.  See below for the new days/times (effective Monday January 6, 2020):

  • Tuesdays from 11:00am--1:00pm
  • Thursdays from 9:00am--11:00am

When you enter the building, you will see a sign on the wall to your right.  Dial 7464 on the phone and the lab administrator, Val Davis, will answer and buzz you in.

Princeton/Sharonville Tutoring Lab
The Princeton/Sharonville Tutoring Lab will be held at the Sharonville branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.  Most people call this the Sharonville Public Library.  It is ~3 miles east of Princeton High School.  The address of the library is:  10980 Thornview Dr., Cincinnati, OH  45241.  See below for the new days/times (effective Monday January 6, 2020):

  • Mondays from 12:00pm--2:00pm
  • Wednesdays from 5:00pm--7:00pm
  • If there is demand, we will add a Friday session

When you enter the library, please head to the front desk to see where we will be located in the library.  There are many study tables scattered around the library; GOVS will be at two of them.
