Special Education Services
The Greater Ohio Virtual School (GOVS) is a Free and Public School and serves students in grades 9-12. We Have a psychologist who assists in the identification of students with disabilities through a multi-factored assessment along with completing State mandated re-evaluations as required. The Special Education Coordinator assists in the development of the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) in addition to monitoring the progress of the students
Services
GOVS goal is to have each student succeed and perform to their potential. IEP students have the opportunity to take classes commensurate with their ability. Tutoring is available through Skype. All students complete a career assessment which may indicate student aptitude in certain career clusters.
